IPv6 : Just for completeness, heres a near-minimal IPv6 tracert into A&A-land, again disregard hop to 1 (WLan, WPA2*4) and the long line with heavy interleave which is just geography :-

I imagine games writers who are longing to see the back of NAT might find their salvation in IPv6 provided they can handle any frewalling issues.

Doesn't work that way for anything other than consoles which have a lot more "issues" than firewalling.

Edit - if you think "console gamers" are serious gamers then you need to get a clue ;)
