Hi guys,

Since G.INP was enabled on my line, I've been on what appears to be a banded profile. I've synced at 44,000Kbps down, and 11,999Kbps up. I have been averaging about 1 error per day since G.INP was enabled, and am currently sat at an 8.1dB SNRM on the downstream.

I have tried resyncing manually, twice, within the past 3 months to try and get the DLM banded profile lifted, but haven't been able to.

Anyone got any idea why the profile won't lift?

DLM banding can be very stubborn in been removed.

Ideally you need a DLM reset, but how you would get one not sure, as an isp might argue with a 8db margin, you not losing that much speed so deal with it.

  Your only loosing 4Mb/s and if you get any more cross-talk as time goes by that margin will get get smaller. I suggest patience and hoping the DLM does eventually relent, depending on the line history the DLM can take some time before making a decision.

DLM is a bizarre creature. It turned off interleaving on my line for 24 hours despite the line generating thousands of errors per hour.

Thanks guys, 4Mbps is a 10% increase on my line so would be nice to have it! It does seem to be being very stubborn, but I doubt I'll get a reset done unless there is a fault that takes me below my estimated speeds.

I'm unsure if I have banding also. I believe my max attainable is 80,441 but my sync rate is bang on 74,000. Not too worried about it but I would have thought I would possibly of had a little more with my max attainable.
