I recently decided to try Tab Mix Plus again using the latest test version which was supposed to fix the issues I was having. The version I am currently using is 0.4.1.9PRE.150703a1 and so far I've not had any problems and it does seem to resolve the thing about closing multiple open tabs (for which it has its own setting) and certainly if you click on the top right x or exit via the file menu it does warn you. If you have the Quit Firefox add-on which provides for another quit button this bypasses the checks and quits without warning.

tab mix plus has issues I agree.

Problem is firefox without it is plain aweful to use.

I have the following requirements from my browser, if anyone has a way to get these without TBM it be great.

Tabs in multiple rows (typically have 200+ tabs open).
Adjustable tab width
New tabs open next to current.
Go to last used tab when closing a tab.

  I use FF on all my Windows terminals along with TMP and have done so pretty well since TMP became available. I have no issues at all like those reported here on any of them and have 50+ tabs open in several separate instances of FF on the terminal I'm using currently (8.1)..  Current stable version of TMP is 0.4.1.8 which is what I am using.

It Bookmarks fine and just did several to check. I get warned every time about closing multiple tabs.  But I never get round to closing the last tab separately though so can't comment on that ...

Also running Waterfox (the 64-bit version of FF) and that behaves as it should.
