Please note that v 5.1 of HG612 Modem Stats is due to be released as a full update some time tonight.

Existing users will be able to update to v 5.1 via the GUI's auto-update system.

The full package can be downloaded from here please ensure you check for updates after installing.

Changes since v 5.0:-

*  G.INP related data is now included in logs optionally uploaded to MyDSLWebstats


*  Ongoing FULL__MONTY stats montage reformatted to include all relevant graphs
   in a single montage for G.INP active connections


*  Various improvements to the graphing displays


*  Various MINOR programming reliability improvements


MyDSLWebstats users may need to wait for a few minutes after updating to v 5.1 for the G.INP related graphs to become visible as quite a major database update is required when the new data is first uploaded.

False positive
I have just downloaded the same link.
Checked with latest Avast & Malwarebytes ..... all OK as I would expect. 

What AV do you use.?
Can you check with something else.?

These are indeed False positives that some AV programs wrongly detect.

Which file is supposedly infected?

It claims the HG612_run.exe is infected

Having had others also confirm its not the case I will continue to install

Hg612_run.exe is a very simple VBA script that I compiled into an exe file for some reason, can't remember now why we did this. All it does in run HG612 Stats.exe in such a way that you don't get a dos session window flash up every 60 seconds (doesn't happen in all cases as it depends on OS version and how the task is configured). Its probably because it runs another program in a covert way that some anti virus systems report that it's a trojan.

The main problem is that a relatively small amount of people actually use our programs, and an even smaller amount submit them to AV companies when they are flagged as having a virus or a trojan.

If any anti virus programs flags any of our programs as a threat please submit it to them as a false positive, they will then take a closer look and act accordingly, last time I did this I got a reply back declaring Hg612_run.exe as safe. The more people that do this the less false alerts will be raised, until eventually it's not flagged as a threat by any anti virus programs.

Ronski removed the feature from the latest version to prevent traffic being sent to MyDSLWebStats while it was down.  I’m sure he will add it back when he has time.

Until I reinstate the options,  which probably won't be until Tuesday night you have two options.

1. Roll back to a previous version of the GUI, which if you've not disabled the backup option will be in the backup folder, then don't update until I release another update.
2. Edit the ini file manually and change the option for upload to YES. Then don't run the GUI until I release an update.
