Author Topic: HG612 - Re-Synced Overnight... Which Graphs Should I Post?  (Read 1844 times)

Afternoon!

Okay so after 14 days of stable connectivity my HG612 resync'd last night...

Still on the same banding as far as I can see?

The stats program says Retrain Reason: 1 (Field 80 retrain_r) not sure what that means?

I've got graphs/stats to cover the entire period so any help deciphering what happend would be appreciated.

Cheers
Matt

Actually, having a flick through the graphs, it looks like after the re-synch my Interleaving Depth has reduced by 1000 and my upstream Interleaving depth has reduced to zero from 120?

Hmm... Says G.INP Enabled : No

My pings are definitely better, so maybe DLM's first call was to turn down the interleaving slightly. Maybe i'll see some more improvements next week  :)

Zero is an unusual Interleaving depth value.
It is usually reported with a value of 1 for a fastpath connection.

If you use HG612 Modem Stats, could you post 'snapshot' montages from subfolders of Current_Stats from before & after the recent changes?

Afternoon,

So here's my full monty covering from the beginning to now... Looks like DLM reduced my downstream Interleaving again last night, so that's a positive sign.

Uploaded my Current Stats aswell.

Cheers

Interleaving now disabled for both Downstream and Upstream after a re-train last night, so that's positive.

Pings to bbc.co.uk of 14ms down from 38ms.

Just hoping the next move is a removal of 0.128m-35m banding i'm suffering!  ;D
