as kitz proven g.inp on ECI does have a significant affect.

I have contacted my ofcom contact about this issue with how end users are been treated and they said its been dealt with in an upcoming consultation.

The big problem if the end-users complain to much then G.INP and Vectoring plug will be pulled indefinitely and we have already seen the process being halted now for 2 months there is a real risk here that we will cut off your nose to spite your face.

I am sure thats the typical false information we all get these days, until OpenReach are able to establish a media spokesperson it would definitely help to calm a lot of end-users down including me  ;D

I thought they pulled it in favour of G.Fast because of Virgin's new drive to increase speeds beyond what FTTC is capable of even with vectoring. Although it may still continue in some BDUK areas.

there is not point in saying i thought they pulled it unless you have concrete evidence of this, i guess some other forum users are trying to play a role as a sunday times broadband reporter and i don't believe everything i see in a news paper or the media until it's been verified as the truth.

No problem. I eagerly await your report of G.INP and Vectoring working on your cabinet.

I'll let you know when it becomes available or not as it will be the truth  ;)

For newt, you may get g.inp back after the 26 may, plusnet have said the trial is done and mass rollout will start from that date, which makes me assume it will be reenabled again on the DLM.

This is for people on hauwei cabs not ECI cabs.
