Huawei HG612 2V EXIST(firmware update solved)

Hello everyone,for some reason,I got a HG612 but 2V version,it comes with GUI accessable.

I try to update the firmware with the 030SP06 and 08,but nothing changed,so could anyone give some advice?

in the maintaince menu,there is a firmware update function,just like any other this kind of net eqiupment.I just follow the guide.

That doesn't work. You have to use the reset method. http://www.kitz.co.uk/routers/hg612unlock.htm#hg612_hacking

I tried again follow that hacking guide, still can not make any change...............

Yes, it is important to wait for the modem to finish the process by re-booting itself.

I'm pleased to know that you have finally managed to update the firmware package.  :)
