New HG612

Does any one have an answer to this problem have two HG612 modems original one Has G INP enabled the new one is showing   G INP not enabled quite difference in speeds between them will the G INP modem update it self over night if i leave it connected to my broadband connection

Are both modems using the same firmware image?  :-\  They both should be using the image announced here.

This is what you need:-

software version: V100R001C01B030SP08

xdsl firmware version: A2pv6C038m.d24j

I wonder if it's possible that in the non-G.INP active modem you somehow have the correct software version, but an older firmware version?



Alternatively, as you suggest, leaving it connected overnight, G.INP may be enabled.

However, it is currently suspected that further enabling of G.INP has been temporarily suspended.
If that is the case, you may have to wait a bit longer for the non-G.INP modem to become enabled?
