Hi, First post looking for help

Getting lots of lag in online games, could a interleaved delay of 8ms be the cause? do my line stats point to a problem? (BT Infinity Line)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What kinda lag?
Which games? Console/PC? Wireless/ethernet?

Being interleaved/INP'd will increase round trip time but doesn't really cause lag spikes, just consistent higher latency, kinda thing.

That said, you appear to have a pretty short line so I'd question why you're interleaved...

it's a kind of throttled feeling, where there is a delay to anything i do with the occasional stuttering (quite weird to explain), all on console Xbox one with wired connection, it's not input delay as i've tried different tv's & monitors

Unfair of me to outright point at BT but it's been noticed that they seem to be routing people via odd places. Combined with your interleaving, that might be enough to produce the 'space out' feeling you're describing ;/

Might be worth getting DSLstats or similar on the go to see why you're interleaved, perhaps?
Not much you can do about having BT as your ISP though

Can you post a traceroute to bbc.co.uk? Perhaps you're not affected by what the others, myself included, are seeing
