HG612 on ADSL2+
« on: March 28, 2015, 12:33:46 AM »

I'm having a hard time with the HG612 since I unlocked it. I want to use it as a router on ADSL2+ with BT. I have it on ATM 0,38, PPPoA, VCMUX. It syncs without any problems but I cannot get an Internet connection from any of the LAN ports. It's plugged directly into a computer. Port Binding is ticked on both. DHCP & NAT is enabled. I've even flashed it to SP06. Why won't it work?

Welcome to the Kitz forum.

Have you taken a look at the configuration shown on these pages? Those pages show exactly what configuration was used when I was using an HG612 as a modem/router on an ADSL2+ circuit.

Finally got an Internet connection by putting in the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 under DHCP
