Aren't the ladies wonderful! Most times, "yes", but I'm struggling with getting her IPod Camera Roll and some pictures we took on our cameras in to the IPad. I transfer the Camera Roll and it appears in the IPad, but when I transfer the photos Camera Roll vanishes and vice-versa. :comp:

We go to the Apple Support Forums and post a question, but there is no sign of it, Forum any way seems utterly confusing; you could say, "it's Apple-ing. >:D

Until that forum replies, if indeed it ever does. Has any one suggestions how  I get both camera Roll and the photos in to the Ipad?

Sorry, no, I am unable to help.

(I understand that all of those iDevices are basically understood by the younger people of the iWant generation.  ::)  )

Hi

You should be able to sync through iTunes for the pictures. Camera roll, not heard of this but assume it's an app, if so, download it from iTunes for iPad version your using.

If pictures fail to sync, just grab the pictures using your computer, there should appear as a plug in drive to browse outside of iTunes

Another easier way, would be to sync using iCloud

Many thanks

Camera Roll in IPod contains the pictures taken with its camera. FWIW I have both IPod and IPad connected via their USB to the computer and showing up in ITunes. Fodder time is nigh. I'll resume exploration of your reply later

And there was me led to believe that these ere Apple devices were so intuitive

Sorry renluop but I can't help with your question, I'm sure someone familiar with Ipads will be along to tell you the Apple way to do it.

Seems to be a few Youtube videos which may help
