Drop in SNRM whilst on phone

I recently noticed that we experience quite a large drop in SNRM whilst on the phone, it goes from 6.2dB down to 4.6dB, this only affects the downstream.

I've done a quiet line test and can't here any noise. Any thoughts on this, is it worth pursuing or just keeping an eye on it?

Difficult to really say.  :-\  If you are not experiencing any undue effects, then just "keep an eye" on it. Essentially it is giving you a warning of a developing fault in the metallic pathway.

Just checking . . . Do you have a Mk 3 SSFP fitted to the NTE5/A in your computer room?

I would try a nte5 swap (just the front part), if it makes no difference then report a suspected HR fault.  It may also be worth trying a filter swap and removing the mk3 to rule those out.

Do the standard procedure and remove SSFP and connect direct to the test socket with a micro filter and watch your line stats over 24 hours  ;)

And use your mobile to call the landline number and note down the times of each call to landline and check the DS SNRM to see if each call coincides with a DS SNRM fall in the graph.

I'm pretty sure I don't have any micro filters, however I do have a spare Mk2 filter. When I get chance I'll check things out.

DLM has now hit me!

Just been clobbered by the DLM at 11:05, now have interleaving depth of 919, with INP 3 and delay 8.

Stats didn't look bad, so no idea why I've been hit, any thoughts?

You had a total of 2605 errored seconds on the 15th of march so that may have done it and a spike of errors at 22:00 on the 15th :-\

I wonder what caused that huge spike of errors at 10pm Sunday,  but if that was the cause of today's action I would thought it would of kicked yesterday rather than today.
