Plusnet setup parameters for Billion BiPAC 8800NL modem router

Hi Folks.

I've set up many ADSL routers over the years and normally I would say it's not rocket science.

However, with the Billion BiPAC 8800NL on Plusnet I am not so sure.

Can anyone help with the setup parameters from factory default to get my router talking to Plusnet? ADLS light is on (not at the moment as I am back to using OR modem and Plusnet-supplied SagemCom router to get on the net), but cannot get the internet LED to come on.

Any and all help much appreciated.

IME it's often the username that causes problems with Plusnet.

Are you using the format username@plusdsl.net ?

Don't use the setup wizard for fttc - i couldn't get that to work at all and whilst it would sync, it wouldn't connect to my service.

Follow a manual guide instead - I'm sure there is one on here somewhere or ask over at the Billion forum, they are really helpful there too
