Sync spped increse no increase in thruput

Hi

I went back....at last night to fast path. My Ping rates are now excellent. However my thru put if anything has decreased slightly. I have tried Gateway hopping and the BTW test now shows my IP Profile at 24.5 (Previous 19.50) However I still only get speed tests of 19Mb down exactly the same as when I was having the degraded sync speed. The Upload has increased in line with the faster Sync . You can see my stats on MDWS.

Maybe try turning off/on the router as this will force in the new IP profile.

Thanks for comment, but did that also dropped the PPoe a few times to try different gateways. No significant difference

Try putting in a ticket to plusnet, sounds something their end, and have you tried a different speedtester?

Don't Plusnet have a tool to check your Speed profile that they have? I believe its here: https://www.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
(i'm not a Plusnet customer myself)

Solved by assistance on forum. Profile reset 4mps extra bandwidth  :)
