On Sunday the hatchlings had spread out and were not huddled together --

Thanks for the updates b*cat.   Not had chance to visit the cams myself the past week or so, so appreciate the updates

Today was rather rainy in East Anglia and the chicks huddled together in the corner nearest to the camera with Mrs Falcon acting as a shield --

"Any food for us?"

Having dismantled a pigeon (leaving the feathers to blow in the wind) the young huddle together for a nap whilst the parent watches over them --

Thanks b*cat, just checked them out.  Still all huddled in a corner, with some bloody remains and bones left in the centre of the scrape.   Looks like the parents are feeding them well as they are growing so fast.   Not as progressed as Nottingham yet whose adult feathers are coming through already.

When I checked earlier this afternoon there was just one of the young visible, napping after a feed of pigeon --

Earlier this afternoon two of the young were visible, one snoozing, one very attentive to the surroundings --

Were they just hiding?

They can "tuck in" to the two recesses either side of the central stonework and, thus, not be visible to the camera.

ahhh thanks b*cat.   I did have a quick peep when I posted earlier,  but all I could see was chest feathers and a bird's face stuck in front of the camera.

Early this afternoon three of the four were visible --

Adult feathers starting to come through.  I always think they look funny at that stage
