We all know that BTw and BTo is keeping FTTC Exchange and Cab Availability checker locked to ISP's only (not to the public) but it would be nice if they do release it to public one day. I doubt it.

I do think it seem unfair not to show this to public as we would know if the cabinet is take up full in percent.

I'm sure BT's competitors like Virgin, Gigaclear, Hyperoptic and other altnets would also be very interested to hear the % take up on each cabinet where they are in competition.
Which is why just as with the take up rate for ADSL we are unlikely to get it.

Funny side I did ask Plusnet isp to check my cabinet take up in percent and they will not allow to tell me! It's a pity BTw are a cowboy hidden!

Time to filed a complaint to ofcom!

That screen shot doesn't actually show the take up, it shows the percentage of lines in a given postcode severed by a given cabinet. The data is in the format of the leaked spreadsheets from back in 2011.

Why is this thread located under "Announcements" --> "News Articles"?  :-\
