Site Down?

Did the site just go down for a few minutes or maybe longer? Tried a few times and got no response  ???

Im sorry, its not something Ive been aware of.  The site is monitored by both montastic and Pingdom - Neither of which emailed me any reported any issues.   If the server was down then I should have also got an error on via a program running on my local PC which checks the server every 10 mins.  No reported errors there either.

That said Ive been out since early o'clock and just got back so I cant speak for first hand experience.  Any one else notice anything?

I was on the forum around the time mentioned and didn't notice anything.

All I can think was it was TalkTalk DNS causing the issue, other sites were working around the time though so it's a bit of a mystery!

the only other thing I can thing of is a routing issue at one of the peer points.   

Eric and I are with the same ISP who have a direct peer with my webhost via Level3.  Its possible that anyone coming through via L3 may have been ok?  My hosts also direct peer with several other UK ISPs such as BT and Sky, not sure which peers TT use. link
