did you see the review? The product shipped with a fault. The router rebooted/restarted every 45 seconds. Spoke to Netgear support and they confirmed that the router was faulty

Hmmm very poor by Netgear. They should have tested it before release it.

OUCH at £270!   

The theory sounds good but I think we all know that AC still has some teething issues and aside from that it would depend on your devices being AC to take full advantage.

And.. omg its fugly.     I dont like the antennas and give it a couple of months the casing will be a dust trap. 
The case design is truly awful, it looks like a crab thats landed on its back.

yeah their video doesnt project real life, real life is 90% of devices are 2.4ghz only.

I think I'll stay clear of routers claiming magnificent things, the Asus DSl-AC68U caused so many problems.

Ironically one of the unhappy reviewers on Amazon.com replaced his Nighthawk R8000 X6 with an Asus  RT-AC68U which he is much happier with
