DSLstats v5.2 released
« on: October 17, 2014, 08:03:28 AM »

Some small but important improvements in the MyDSLWebStats functions, in particular the uploading process, so everyone using the MyDSLWebStats option is urged to upgrade.

There are some extra files included in the download archives, so you should copy all the included files.

Changes since v5.1.2:

- fixed empty legend (in some circumstances) in SNRM per band graphs
- added a check to validate the username and validation key for MyDSLWebStats
- made several minor improvements to MyDSLWebStats functions

All good here to -- Thanks.

I still find the reset of 24 hours averages, zeros the error count but fails to update the 24 hour start time.  However my fix up of closing 5.2 version, starting and resetting with 5.0.2 and then returning to 5.2 still lets me do it correctly when it is needed.

I think I've been misunderstanding what you expected from the reset. I'll try to spend some more time on it now.

Seem to have a problem with the - 1 hour end of BST last night, looking at CRC per min on the raspberry the end of the graph (current time) is still showing as 18:56 it should be 17:56

The Rasbperry PI clock is showing the correct time the graphs are not.

It should correct itself if you close down DSLstats and restart it. I'm looking at this issue now, and I'll have a solution before the next time change. :)

I don't know whether anyone actually has or is using a pre-release HG635 with the telnet login admin/admin but I now seem to have provided a working config file that will enable telnet on a HG635 for anyone that uses it as a base for their custom settings.  See http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php?topic=14185.msg272527#msg272527   you will see that config has the telnet login of !!Huawei/@HuaweiHgw.  It may be worth considering using that login in dslstats.    dslstats works completely OK with my HG635 and this login.

Eric I updated to 5.2 the other day and all seems fine. Even my issue I had a while ago with it not finding saved options seems to have gone away, that I think must have been a glitch in W2K.

Two very minor points, the version of curl shipped wont work with W2K, I had to download a different one but that's sorted now. I dont suppose you will have many W2K users anyway! The other thing I noticed was that this morning when I used DSLStats to re-sync it complained it could not send data to MyDSLWebStats which I thought was a little odd since I had told DSLStats to do the re-sync!

Stuart, thanks for the report. I had some trouble initially getting curl to work, and I suspected that the shipped version might not work on W2K, but I don't currently have any means to test it. If it's no bother, could you give me a link to the curl version which you downloaded?

I'll take a look at the second point, it's obviously a detail I didn't think of.
