I  did perform several PPP re connects not for a profile change but to get on a better gateway and the IP profile remained the same, until after over 2 weeks i powered the ECI off  and back on after 15mins , and the profile was still showing 77.44  untill 4am the following day when the ppp re connected  remotely  and the ip profile had changed  to 71.37

I have just swapped modems to the hg612 again to get the stats

the fec errors and most of the crc's where showing immediately following sync, so ??
Also i notice that when compared to my stats on fast path with the max downstream sync rate, that  the snr is now lower at 6.2db but the attainable is higher, weird  old stats where snr was 7.2-3 with a lower attainable rate on the downstream

At last I'm back to a full 80/20 sync with fastpath, however even after dropping the PPP session as it survived the re sync , the BTW  IP profile hasn't updated What's with the delay in this ? if their dumb assed systems that they insist on forcing on us all don't work as they should maybe it's about time they where scrapped altogether?

BTw profile connects live on PPP connect, so drop PPP and recconect.

Already done this several times and even allowed 20mins before reconnecting again, As said IP profile still set to what it has been for the past 2-3 weeks it just won't update because their tec is flawed imo

Plusnet's shadow profile apart from being no more than an added layer of hassle it is supposed to follow the BT wholesale   neither have updated

Something doesn't appear quite right there.
80 Mbps sync speed should 'theoretically' incur an IP Profile of around 77.43 Mbps
Maybe BT have changed their timings for updating their IP Profile?

If you are not on a fixed IP address, do you see a different IP address each time you disconnect/reconnect the ROUTER/hub?

Well finally the BT IP profile updated some 12hrs late (what a joke it is) and still my throughput is being wrongly restricted by the plusnet shadow IP profile that imo they don't need, and trying to get through to someone on the phone is a bigger joke, time for a change in ISP me thinks

As for anomalies if i use the hg612 modem i sync at 79987kbps and get a BTW IP profile of 77.42  but if i use the ECI modem  my IP profile is 77.44 ?? i don't see any difference in throughput on the DS  but that could be down to how Plusnet configure things(their IP profile)
