It's good but it's not the RTE @ 252 kHz radio transmitter that causes any RFI and at my end the D1 bitloading is rock steady 24/7 142kHz to 3704kHz it's the D2 band and the RFI frequency are 7232kHz to 7447kHz and one of the transmitters is called Radio China International that's what causes most of the 1.9dB SNRM loss in the evenings.

Thanks for that post JGO  :)

I'm not too sure what you are asking.  ???  The location of the transmitting (or broadcasting) sites?

The VLW station at Rugby was closed down a few years ago.

I have another VDSL RFI disturber it's from RRI (Radio Romania International) it's effecting tones around 1431 (6170 Khz) the good thing is the station goes off-air at 10pm, forgot to take a snaphot of bitloading tones during this event but it's been hitting me hard for well over a few weeks so i'll get it tomorrow evening.

Isn't someone supposed to be regulating the output power of these things? They shouldn't be loud enough to cross distances like that.

Relatively low frequency transmissions can propagate many, many miles via reflections from the ionosphere and the surface of the earth. Such a mode of propagation is enhanced during the hours of darkness.

Here is the bitloading tone graph being effected by Radio Romania International (RRI) and the SNRM graph to show what happens when the station goes off-air before 10pm and  you can also see the effects caused by Radio China International (RCI/CRI) effecting tones higher up in.
