I am not convinced on the DP stuff either, I checked property across road from me, not fed from same pole seems underground feed as no pole, different estimate by a few mbit.  The 4 buildings alongside mine, all have slightly different estimates about 100kbit apart.  All 5 properties including mine are fed from the same pole.

Ha ha, it's not a referendum Chrys. I'm not trying to win your vote ............. it's a fact that estimates are taken to the DP. No further investigations necessary.  ;D

The building that i dwell in, comprises of 1 other flat and a lock up shop, both the flat and shop get better results for both ADSL and FTTC , out of the 3 only i have a FTTC service that has obtained a above 80/20 attainable rate for over the past 12 mths,(300-350mtrs from cab) & 1.6-1.9km from exchange, the estimated adsl speed has always been way lower than what the line is capable of too, so the bt checker gives bs results imo
