I've come to the same conclusion myself - no more MS being bought here as there is simply no reason to do so. Not even for games which were always a problem - I am VERY impressed with Cedega and have yet to find a single game which won't run under Cedega/Wine.

Installing/messing about with PCLOS 2007 has been a complete revelation to me. Linux desktops have improved out of all recognition and hardware support is improving in leaps and bounds too. Thanks very much for pointing it out to us Eric :)

There seem to be quite a lot of public organisations around the world taking that sort of decision (even one or two governmental bodies in the US, surprisingly).
