Is everything OK at the server end?  I have two devices that say the site is not available.  Seemed OK a couple of days ago.

Cheers

You stopped uploading :

Down since 22 Dec 11:34

Can you PM your IP address please and I'll see if that is the problem.

All looks okay here otherwise.

Edit:
Thanks. That IP was allocated to China at one time. Unblocked and you are uploading again.

Is it feasible to add some kind of indication of if line has synced at 3,4 or 5db instead of 6db?  It would be great to be able to monitor the rollout of this with Ginp again?

Yes, I needed to change some power cabling so just did it before going out. Server didn't restart properly though so took a while to regenerate the database tables from the logs. All seems okay now.

Happy New Year to everyone  :drunk:

Looking at the SNRM graph would seem to be the best way as there's no other data I'm aware of that would tell you  :-\

I've added the current upstream and downstream SNRM figures to the Resync mails that go out after a resync if that helps so don't need to look in MDWS.

Code: [Select]
Current Downstream Sync Rate is now 32806kbps @ 6.0db SNRM
Current Upstream Sync Rate is now 8961kbps @ 6.2db SNRM
as measured at the time of this email.

Thanks the email change is useful.

I was thinking a bit more when a user syncs up you look at the db value this should be around 6+db at the moment.  If anyone syncs at 5.25db (or whatever best) or less an appropriate cell is coloured like with Ginp on/off.  Can then use the all stats page to see how well rollout is going?

The current db is not what is needed it is db at last sync?  Perhaps this as new column on all user stats page, coloured for 3, 4, 5db?

I would use it and think it would be useful for other users anyone else agree?

The reported dB in the mail is the value at Resync when the line comes back up and uploads data, not before it Resynced - can't see any value in that.

I really don't have the time currently to undertake what you are suggesting and seems like a lot of effort for little return.

I rather agree with Tony's last comment. The information is available by consulting the monitoring program directly.
