I've put a monitor on your line to see if the missing uploads are ever getting here...

Don't think they would have waited for the drizzle to stop in Tony's avatar's day though.  ;D

Yes, they were real men driving real cars with little aid from anything else. Not wimps like today's drivers...

@NStar

You are only missing one upload at 57mins to the hour. It started a couple of days ago,

But.... have you noticed that you are not uploading any bits zip files (I assume not intentionally). They upload at 57mins to the hour for you. If you look, you'll see that last Bits/Tone file uploaded was on 21st July at 11:58. Same for the others. That happens to coincide with your log entry you showed where the zip uploads failed just after that. I will observe that we used to upload every 15 mins but that changed a long time ago to every hour.

Looks like something has gone adrift there in DSLstats and it isn't reporting it. Maybe you need to clear some files or whatever, possibly Eric could advise if he spots this..

This 1 min gap has gone with RPi uninstalled DSLstats or moved to wastebasket then click show hidden folders moved .DSLstats folder to wastebasket and installed DSLstats again and set it up again.

And thinking back I took the DSLstats offline to MDWS and changed the sample rate to 15 seconds while doing some stuff to see if it effected stats and must have borked the .INI file

Missing Uploads

Please also see this post:

There is a suggested fix at the user's end for some of the intermittent missing uploads...

How often does MDWS check what modem is in use? I switched both modem and stats program a couple hours ago and it instantly noted the change of stats program, but still shows me as using the older modem. It's not a huge deal, I'm not even sure what info it uses to identify the modem. I know it's not anything I select in DslStats as I'm using the Zyxel VMG8924 and that isn't even an option, though MDWS reports a number of users using it.

You need to manually select the modem type in the options page on mydslwebstats when you are logged in. At the bottom of the page "options"  then choose modem model and other alerts.

lol! thank you! can't even remember setting that in the past. I know Tony uses a bit of trickery to work out the DSLAM type, thought it was similar for the modem.

Lol. Dont forget your upload alerts on the same page. I am interested to see if you get any missing minutes. My 8924 kept on skipping minutes for some reason. My 8324 does not miss a beat.

Thanks to MDWS I have the time my laptop locked up.

Earlier today the screen wouldnt wake up, so laptop was basically unresponsive, had to power cycle it.  I can see from MDWS it stopped working around 4am this morning.

Tony

Have you changed the refresh option on Errored Seconds. I can only find 15 or 30 Mins, (I used to have 5 mins )

Yes. It only updates once an hour so others were a bit unnecessary and reduces loading a bit. You can always manually reload it at about 5 mins past the hour if you want.

It's still there:

But not every time. Sometimes another interface is displayed. But I don't know how to switch between them:
