There appears to be a wider network issue somewhere as suggested. Over the past two hours, some 50 odd people have stopped uploading and I can't see why - others are fine but the uploaders total is still falling slowly. Plusnet/BTW seems to be a majority.

TBB site is not accessible from here so latency graphs are failing. I had two RDI failures yesterday which is very unusual (Plusnet) and a lot of packet loss that I hardly ever see. Also Plusnet do have an alert active from yesterday that I found when I spotted my resyncs.

Edit:
I now have an ebay DNS failure....

Is anybody else getting this problem accessing the website through a proxy server? Seems to be going into some kind of redirect loop. Works fine if you go direct.

Screenshot attached.

The page is invoked in response to a 403 Access Denied from the server and redirects to a user validation page. So the proxy server you tried for whatever reason has its IP banned.

I just tested this on a banned IP via a VPN and works fine under Chrome with no errors so no real idea why you saw that response. Can you say what the IP was please? Avoiding proxy servers is probably the best way round it if there is a problem. I've not seen this ever happen before. Are you registered with MDWS?

Edit 25/07/16:
This has been resolved....

Very odd. It's the proxy cluster at work.

I am, with the same username, but I'm not uploading any data at the moment. Will send you the IP addresses in a PM. Unfortunately at work, I can't avoid the proxy servers. At least not unless I tether a laptop to my phone.

I think I have come across a v. small bug re: the Latency Monitor.

In the Options section I populated the Latency Monitor section with graph information some time ago but set the 'Monitor' box to 'Off' as I was going to be using an MDWS incompatible modem for a bit.

Now I have swapped modems again - I note that MDWS seems to ignore the 'Off' instruction and continues to update the graph..

Seems okay here - if I turn mine off it goes away and gets replaced by a dummy image saying you need to set it up... (You would need to hit F5 after changing the option to get it to take effect although it will disappear next to a your user stats pane if you have one open [on wide graphs only]).

Try turning it off and on and off  if that doesn't work.

Turning it off/on changes the larger graphic on the top right hand side but not the smaller graph next to the uptime on the status bar which always seems to appear/update

Um. I'll have a look later after F1 Monsoon Qualifying and dealing with builders banging away here.  Removing the link should kill it all.

Edit:
This should be okay now...

Tony I am looking into my uptime and see a gap of two minutes coming up to each hour, could you have a wee look when you get time before I start stripping down the RPi OS

Cheers

I don't see any server problems currently.

Had a good look at this some time back with Eric... Check the DSLstats log for errors - unable to connect/log in to modem or connect timeouts.  That's the only reason I'm aware of although the Billion seems far more prone than others...

The only event logs on the DSLstats v5.8.2 are from the 21 Jul 2016

21 Jul 2016 12:14:42 Unable to save Bits.Log for MyDSLWebStats
21 Jul 2016 12:14:42 Unable to save Bits.files.zip for MyDSLWebStats
21 Jul 2016 12:14:43 Unable to save SNR.Log for MyDSLWebStats
21 Jul 2016 12:14:43 Unable to save SNR_file.zip for MyDSLWebStats
21 Jul 2016 12:14:43 Unable to save modem_stats.Log for MyDSLWebStats
21 Jul 2016 12:14:43 Unknown error while uploading MyDSLStats data

Checking the RPi monitor coming up to each 56 minute it shows as sampling each minute all the way upto the hour but on MDWS there are 2 minute gaps not recorded
