Thanks Eric, looks good here as well  :fingers:

I aborted the backup as realised it's a full backup not incremental and need to have the system shut down. I'll do it this afternoon so MDWS will be out for about 30 mins or so. Then I need to transfer to a fresh disc in the next few days as the current one I used is a few years old...

I woke up today and found MDWS saying my sync had dropped to 32 and I had loads of upstream errors. I then rubbed my eyes in disbelief only to realise I was looking at tbailey's graph and stats and not my own.

Last night I swapped from Cent browser to Chrome and must not have selected my own stats in the Chrome window after logging in. Phew, that will teach me to install a new browser in the early hours.

SERVER OUTAGE 16:16-16:45

The outage earlier was due to a need to disassemble the server/hoover it out etc to add an additional 16Gb of physical memory as with the increased number of users the database is starting to swap out and slow everything down. It did it crash on the first restart (frozen) but seems okay the second time so fingers crossed.

Actually increasing the memory allocation to use a proportion of that will take place tomorrow morning and takes about 20 mins max. May need to do this more than once.

Thanks.

Hi Tony,

Can you add Asus DSL-AC88U to the upload modem list please?

Done (I'm assuming it works of course). I don't believe it's approved by BT though unless anyone knows better.

Thanks Tony.

I'm using the same user name here as I use on MDWS so you can see it working!

Not being approved could be interesting as I bought it from a pretty well known UK supplier of PC hardware...

DSLStats is telling me my validation key is failing. IS it possible to re-send the key or have I missed something else? I'm using the one I was sent originally.

Stuart

Just tried the Linux version and it validated OK using the same key so it's something Ive done wrong on the Windows version where I normally run it. Just typed it manually rather than copy/paste the code and it works!

Tony, evidently I have forgotten my memorable word (oh the irony). I can see a link to reset password, will this do the memorable word as well? Otherwise, would you be able to pm it to me, or send it to the registered email? Much obliged, kind sir for your continued efforts!

Hi jasonkruys

If you run dslstats, have a look in the config file, it is stored in the file

If not, yes the forgot password would give option for memorable phrase

Many thanks
