VMG8324 and bash shell
« on: August 31, 2014, 08:25:45 PM »

In Kitz description of this router it says you can issue a command to enter the busybox shell by typing echo && bash, well on my router this does noting but display the && bash. So my question is how do I get into a normal linux shell once telnet'd in?

Stuart

Edit for some reason, not understood it has started to work. Although elsewhere I saw it was suggested that an exitOnIdle set 9999 be issued first.

You have to be really quick and it will soon time out.  exitOnIdle doesnt seem to work or apply once within the Busybox shell.
