Down to @1200 from 2551 is definitely a big step in the right direction.    :)
Still a bit to go though to get back to the previous @800 ?

Assuming the sync rate hasn't changed. Interleaving depth I've found is an unreliable measure, as it changes depending not just on INP, but also depending on the sync rate. I usually observe the INP (most importantly) and then the delay (less importantly, as it usually is a constant 8ms~ when DLM kicks in).

Another auto resync this morning at 08:30.

Current Downstream Sync Rate is now 44414kbps
Interleaving 869
Inp. 3
Delay 8
Current Upstream Sync Rate is now 7271kbps

I did change my modem last weekend to a ZyXel,  but interleaving didn't change then.

Another step in the right direction.  :)    Exactly one month since the last step.

Having had a look at your stats, you appear to now be in the same place with regards to the DLM before your water incident.
Based on that the Zyxel seems to be giving you 2.5Mb more sync speed than the HG612. 44414 -v- 41880Mbps

Your error rate still seems to be nice and low on the Zyxel - although I expect that may increase tonight due to the lower level of interleaving.  Over the past month, you may get the 1 more Err/Sec, but as an average over the month the Zyxel doesnt appear to perform any worse than the HG612.

Bitswap appears to be slightly less than the HG612 & you seem to be displaying a similar bitswap pattern to what I see, in that hardly during the day, but it will increase at night.

interesting the sync rate increased but attainable decreased.

aah I see now as a DLM change with less aggressive interleaving, if thats due to the new router nice result.

Inconclusive - I suspect a change in DLM may have been due anyway.

Yep you correctly sussed the lower level of interleaving being a cause. :)  Its also why when comparing speeds of the 2, I took the last stable sync on the HG612 before Ronski's water leak..  to compare with todays sync as they are the same DLM profile and interleaving depth/INP. These figures IMHO will likely be a fairer representation of performance.
