An Item of Nostalgia for 4C, Perhaps?
« on: August 18, 2014, 11:47:39 PM »

b*cat has just returned home after his evening prowl around the eBay website.

An item was noticed --

I suspect it is a piece of test equipment similar to that which 4C once had in his working environment.  ;)

Ah yes, the LMS 5B, a basic rack mounted measuring set, 600Ω only.

Most of the repeater station kit was switchable for 75/140/600Ω, but I remember using the 5B in previous years in Worcester exchange trunk test room.

One can be spotted here top centre, to the left of its complementary oscillator.
