DSLstats - major problem
« on: May 22, 2014, 01:39:19 PM »

I have a major major problem here.

I have been using ver 4.50
This is win7 64 bit (my old winXp 32bit PC has been retired)
Program works OK on this version
routers is a Dllink 2640B

After that version lots of things don't work.....it is easier to say what does work to be honest
I've tried 4.52.1 and later and they are all the same.
Here is a flavour...using version 4.52.1
Conn speed, tones, QLn, hlog graphs not recording
SNR graph does record but the itemised stuff at the bottom is missing sync speeds also no system uptime (AS uptime never worked as data is not available).
Event log is a stream of "no data received" messages.
Stats page totally and completely blank  - a white page
(CRC/FEC error graphs are the one bit that is working!)
.......However(!) the telnet data pages appear to show the correct info - or at least there is data on the page which looks reasonable

I go back to ver 4.50 - all functional again.

Can someone with a Dlink 2640B have a try!

I did make some changes at that time to the way the data is parsed, so it looks as though the 2640B may have lost out in those changes. If you could give me a copy of the output of the command adsl info --stats I'll see if I can work it out.

Ah - I see - that explains it

See attached as requested.
As per my message the hlog, QLN and Tones/bitloading graphs are also totally blank so its not just the stats parsing it is messing up.
The telnet data sub-tabs pages text tabulations seem all filled in OK

Thank you. I suspect that the error is at the stats stage, but I'll know more when I look at it.
