Billion is a very good brand for routers, I think they excellent.  But they are also expensive which is I guess expected with quality.  With that said tho I wouldnt spend £150 on a router that is already behind technology wise, that 7800DXL has no AC wireless.

The td 8960 is a good router, but doesn't display upstream snr, the only thing that bugs me
D-Link DSL-2740B also doesn't display upstream SNR on particular tones. I think it is result of the case that DSLAM doesn't send to router information about upstream SNR. Upstream SNR can be measured only by CO.

Best regards

The td 8960 doesn't display snr on any upstream tone.
Other routers such as D-Link DSL-2740B and Netgears also.

and if my SNRM is anything to go by, the upstream is the considerably more volatile. So, perhaps 0.5 of a point to Techcnicolor there.:-\ :)

My Zxyel has the new BCM chipset and is also supposed to work on adsl/adsl2+.   I think one of the guys on here is using one on a non-FTTC line...  its also futured proofed for if you do get FTTC...  and it has a gbE switch which is something that not all do.
