syslog msgbuf show inundated
« on: April 27, 2014, 06:09:16 PM »

The inundation is of the telnet logs in and out
Code: [Select]
<37> Apr 26 18:54:31 LOGIN User admin logged in on TELNET (192.168.1.64)
<37> Apr 26 18:54:36 LOGOUT User admin logged out on TELNET (192.168.1.64)
to the 582N.

I am wondering if there may be a way to suppress such entries, whilst retaining less frequent but more important parts of syslog msgbuf data.

BTW do routers other than Technicolor do the same?

Some routers allow you to specify what goes into the log, but I don't know if the TG582N does.
