I think you were bleedin lucky that "ma" gave you a lift to work at 6.45am because it was raining.  Particularly when I'd only had a few hours kip.. and was relishing those extra minutes in bed before I had to get up for a 3 hour drive myself :p

ps good pic of "Bubbles" pointing at the camera :)

Summary

Scenario

Kimi started new job on tues :)
Mum went away on Friday leaving house spotless.
Kimi made new friends at work and decided to invite them round.

Rules

~ You clean up spilt drinks on the carpet/kitchen floor etc
~ Its polite to wipe your feet and not trample mud through the house, particularly when the carpets have recently been professionally cleaned.
~ You do NOT touch the network settings - and it will lock you out if you attempt to mess.  ~ Attempting to change IP addresses doesnt work... nor does trying attempting to then set up ICS.

Mysteries

How on earth did the loft hatch get broken?
Where have half the forks gone?
How did beer? get splattered on the walls?

Facts

I know the media centre wireless reception wasnt brilliant - but pulling out the wireless extender until the wire snaps does not improve the signal and only results in a broken aerial which means no connection at all.  :(

If you decide to invite a few friends round and you make a mess then you at least attempt to clean it up.
Mums will get annoyed if you promise to do so, then when she checks progress, she finds you fast asleep in bed.

I stopped having my mates round(more than 3) after paint and beer got spilt all over the new dining room carpet. My mum and dad went crazy(as in CRAZY) but i could not see the mess as i still had paint in my eyes aswell  .

eke - I suppose I did get off lightly.

When I came home, I kind of bit my tongue when she promised that she'd clean it up. She knew I was displeased.  The fact that she then went to bed and fell asleep instead of clearing it up was when I saw red.

Yeah Im peed off at the wireless extender for the media centre being broken - I guess I will have to get some of those netgear plugs when the budget allows.
Touching any of my network settings or my PC is a big NO too.
Still cant figure out how the hell the loft hatch got broken though.   ???

Oh dear, a wee bitty of a mess............sort of sorry I asked now, but at least you got to vent your feelings a bit.

I'm sure the young un will feel chastened enough now.

As to the Great Loft Hatch Mystery, keep us posted, it might make a good telly who-dun-it.  :D

It does indeed make for a good whodunnit - and a Mid Winter Mystery might be much more interesting than a Midsomer one (can't be any worse anyway!)
