I was looking at some other services on this satellite and noticed they do Broadband which maybe of interest to someone .

Indeed. But at quite a price, no doubt. 

Somehow I cannot see Walter suggesting it to the various Ewhurstians who are still struggling with appalling or non-existent broadband services via the hardware infrastructure of the Evil Empire of 81 Newgate Street.¹

The biggest hurdle with Satellite BB is the intial cost and setup and usually the monthly GB allowance is quite small.Also D/L speeds can be slower than ADSL.

Thanks for the link,  interesting that the prices equate quite well to the price of a 512kb adsl connection appx 10yrs ago.   

some of us may remember paying £29.99 for 512k plus £150 activation at the exchange, plus a minimum of £100 for a router.
  Some ISPs offered the cheaper USB "frogs" which allowed one pc to connect, having gone for a router myself can't recall how much the frogs were, possibly £30/40?
