As far as I know there are no recent changes so any VDSL2 capable modem will work.

How much do you want to spend? I always recommend a Huawei HG612 V3B and your own choice of router.

There's always the NETGEAR D7800-100UKS Nighthawk X4S AC2600 all-in-one modem-router http://www.amazon.co.uk/D7800-100UKS-Nighthawk-Wireless-Connections-Infinity/dp/B01560JKAE/

I got an unlocked one of them is a drawer.

I was talking about   G.INP - Compatible Modem/Routers as I am using BT HH5 and FTTC.

I have a HH5 A but read a H5 B uses G.INP, I may be wrong as I am a bit rusty on the latest technology.

If your cabinet is a Huawei then you can get G.INP

If your modem in the drawer is a Huawei, then connect it to the phone line and connect LAN1 to the red WAN port on the HH5 and you will get G.INP

The Netgear modem-router will do G.INP.

But your cabinet needs to be a Huawei.
