For anyone who finds that the settings of their HG612 are in a muddle . . .

From the GUI, take Maintenance ---> Device and then left-click on the Restore Default Settings button.

The other alternative is to press and hold the hardware Reset button for approximately 20 seconds.

When I tried that last week it would not let me do it, sorry I can not remember what the error message said .
