It makes me want to try it, even though none of the things I cook have any need for separated eggs    :D

Answer me this: the yolk(s) of an egg are white, or the yolk of an egg is white?

An understandable dilemma, as one does encounter the occasional double yolked egg.  I'd play it safe, by simply saying the whites of eggs are yellow.   ;)

I've seen mention of this before, but it's seldom I separate so is forgotten just how cool that trick is.
Knowing my luck the yolks would probably break in the bottle anyhow

okay you got me.  I sat and stared for 5 mins failing to find the trick question.   The yolk of an egg is yellow/orangey yellow no?

Did I miss something obvious?

...  and talking of double yolkers.. hows this?
Dad brings me my eggs from a farm over-wyre.  Where the chucks often produce double yolks.

I wouldnt have cracked 2 eggs if I'd known they were both going to be double yolkers...  but too late..   and yeah I know not the supposed healthiest of teas, but who cares, it was grilled/poached and not fried :)

Never mind the sausages, Eric ............. it's sacrilege in Lancashire not to have black pudding on a fry-up !!! Preferably from the famous Bury Market.  :-X :-\ ;D

I'm in fear for her current mental state-of-mind.  ;)

Without wishing to cast aspersions on Lancastrians, I think I'll stick to sausages. ;D

Ha ha ....... I can understand folks reticence, when it comes to 'Black pud', I was once that man. But, after years of denial I have come to enjoy said product.

Tripe ?? Beautiful. Always loved it since I were a kid, especially with a slice of elder to compliment it. An obviously enormous subject, and literally it all comes down to personal taste. But, I don't know why I can eat 'Tripe' (and talk it sometimes  ;)), but can't for the life in me stomach jellied eels, or squid ?? Similar textures, but try as I might it's not happening.  ??? :o
