PPP == Point-to-Point Protocol
LCP == Link Control Protocol

My understanding of the message is that the HH5 is sending a Termination Request at those specified times, thus allowing the link to be "refreshed".

(I could, of course, just be caterwauling from the top of the pole that carries the DP, through which The Cattery's line is connected . . .  :)  )

Were I sitting on top of a pole, I'd certainly be caterwauling!

And were I feline, I wouldn't want to imagine my future relations with  my litter tray. ::)

GRT WORK FROM BT CONTRACTOR WHO MADE THIS CABLE UP

Checking the DSL cable is the third step taken when runing through the broadband check list  :)

I also had a DSL cable that came with the BT HH3 router FTTC setup and when installed it drops my sync by 5000 Kbps so that went straight into my black bin.  :o

You have observed the in-built BTagent "calling home" via the CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP), also known as TR-069:-X
