BT Home Hub (Homehub) 5 Unlock
« on: January 23, 2014, 05:52:13 PM »

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did try searching for this.

Has anyone found out how to unlock these to allow the configuration of any ISP rather than only BT owned ones?

Or indeed to allow other configuration setting to be modified ...

Thanks
Dave (newbie)

Hello perdrix. Welcome to the Kitz forum.  :)

The HH5 (and HH4) . . . Hmm, as of yet, I have not heard of anyone who has removed Beattie's restrictions. Sorry.  :(

A word of warning, if you use the hh5 as a switch, instead of router, so basically just maybe AP and extra lan ports but isnt the gateway.  The red light flashes forever and it gets very hot. :)
