Women and chocolate
« on: December 05, 2013, 11:55:12 AM »

My wife just quoted a survey in her magazine to me.

87.5% of women who bought chocolate as a gift gave into temptation and ate it themselves!

I am so NOT surprised  ;) ;)

I assume that you have a secure bunker, Stuart?

A bombard from Kitz or S*mum may soon be imminent!  ::)

;D   Not a bombard from me   - BUT     at chez nous it is hubby who is the choccy addict -       although now it  is 'rationed' due to his Diabetes 2, which is thankfully  controlled by diet.   ( I just get to stick a pin in him several times a week       ..........  to check his sugar levels )

I  will admit to having a small square of the very dark stuff with a strong espresso  - doesn't half waken me up  !!

My stash of Bountys is safe in the fridge - it's the only chocolate confection that SWMBO won't nick.   :)

We never had chocolate when we were kids as we were poor as church mice    :'(

My dad use to suck extra strong peppermints and we would all huddle round him to keep warm....

If we're not careful this thread could become like that Four Yorkshiremen sketch...

That's a classic but I think they only did that sketch in their live shows, the original was pre-python days I believe.

My wife got me the complete Monty Python DVD set recently, I think she thought it would be more likely to get that rather than tickets for the O2!

'At Last the 1948 Show' IIRC, and included Marty Feldman.

And if I'm not mistaken Tim Brook-Taylor as well....
