Reminds me of a school physics exam around about pre o-levels, where I got 97%, my best-ever exam mark and just one question wrong.
The question that beat me was the waveforms emanating from a violin, being transverse or longitudinal. I understood the physics perfectly. The trouble is, I wasn't sure what a violin was.
