Sellers often list things at absurd prices simply to stop people buying them, they may be out of stock or away on holiday etc.

As a regular 'looker' at items listed on eBay, one 'silly priced' item that I recently noticed was an ex-Beattie NTU7A/3 . . . £9,900 plus £3-50 p+p.  :D
