I have this vision of the cattery.
One room where the main focus is a large wooden desk. To the left of the desk stands a home built PC tower, on top of which is balanced various instructions manuals and similar typed papers. Moving across the desk, there's a large monitor proudly displaying a CentOS desktop, keyboard & mouse. On the right there is an assortment of screwdrivers, pliers and various other hand tools. Theres another table which is used as a bench & covered with electronic parts, solder and electronic whatnots. In the corner stands a pile of routers and Pc parts that no doubt will come in useful at some point. There's also cardboard boxes of ebay purchases that have arrived in the morning post.
There isnt a tv, but a radio is softly playing songs from the 70's and a large fireplace which keeps the cattery warm an cozy, afterall kittehs love real fires, so a thick cozy pure wool rug is a must.
The center-point of the room is a large leather comfy desk chair, the type which envelopes a man allowing him to lean back and take an afternoon snooze. On this chair is perched a sleek black cat, his green eyes watching the monitor, whilst paws tap away at the keyboard, making a slight clattering noise as it tries to avoid scratching the letters on the keys.
The kitchen is of little importance, as long as its well stocked up with kitteh treats and the food bowls are kept clean, who cares. The oven is used to cook the type of food such as chickens, bacon, steak and other such meat delicacies that are irresistible to most cats of distinction.
We then find another room, there's a plaque on the door which reads "The grotto". As we open the door we see its a museum dedicated to telecom and other telephony type equipment. Its a living history of all things GPO and BT related. There's telephones etc galore all neatly labelled which the make and model & year of use Some items which are undistinguishable to non engineers are proudly displayed in glass cabinets. This room is crammed full of electronic gadgets and other what-nots. This is the pride and joy (& life time collection) of the resident black cat.
