Clean or dirty ???
« on: November 17, 2013, 03:19:17 PM »

Gentlefolk,

It seems that BT Openreach are at last declaring some lines are substandard.
The classification has to be suitably disguised by BT's lexicographers though.

This is the chippie in Brookhouse, Caton, Lancashire where it seems you can be classified as "clean" or the dirty ones can be called "Impacted".
As I've not seen this elsewhere yet, can anybody enlighten me as to the cause and if any cures are available ?

Kind regards,
Walter

Do you really want peeps to see your telephone number?

Or someone else, even if it is the chippy.

@ BritBrat,

I try to be extremely careful with private numbers but I extracted this one from the website:-

http://www.catonvillage.org.uk/directory/60

where the business is quite clearly advertising their location and phone number.

@ Everybody,

I am interested to understand the implications of the new BT Wholesale classifications.
Is this perhaps to be used as a new lower margin for no repair works, or is it that the EU can pay to have the line restored to a clean condition ?
I observe that both conditions seem to provide identical figures at present.

Kind regards,
Walter

Worst F&Cs at Harry Ramsden, Cribbs Causeway, but that was some years ago. If the order is to be fulfilled by them as agent, I hope they're much better now. :D

The best battered jumbo sausage, chips and mushy peas (in my opinion) used to be available from a small independent shop on Canvey Island, Essex.  :yum:

Edited to add: It is still there! Evidence below.
