Sorry no, I cant think of any reason why this should do so.  It does seem rather strange.
I did wonder if at 6dB your rx power may be a tad higher and make some tones more stable, making a smoother overall line,  but other than that I cant think of anything

What do you think about other bit load at 9 dB than at 6 dB?

Unfortunately I can find no way of getting the bit loading from a HG-533 (TalkTalk branded) unless someone knows otherwise? (hopeful-face)

There's commands for it in the busybox shell, but they either return errors or don't do anything visible!

(see this thread here for discussion on it's failings http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,12514.0.html )

Oh, just to add, in case it's useful or in any way interesting.

Yesterday on the 6db profile the up power was 10.5dBm
Now on the 9db profile it is 11.5 dBm

The down power is returned as 0, sadly

Some routers shows power output reversely for example I have 18.8 dBm for download and 11.3 dBm for upload, but my router shows 11.3 dBm for download and 18.8 dBm for upload.

So it does appear to be bumping your tx power at least when on the higher SNRm, without the rx figure though we're still blind though because the 2 are separate, so there goes that theory. :/

Decent suggestion, but not the case here I'm afraid...   rx power would expected to be in the 18-20dBm region.
