Using your own router on Sky.
« on: September 06, 2013, 06:33:13 PM »

Hey guys,

I saw on the Be* forums a while ago that Sky mentioned Be* users would be allowed to use their own routers (during the Q&A with Sky). Sky also mentioned that they were going to be allowing Sky customers to start using their own equipment too.

Has anything official been announced?

If I recall it has been stated by Sky.

Having said that I have been using my own router on Sky for years and still do.

You should be able to find the answer here: http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/

nothing "official" that I know of - a lot of people think its all 'smoke & mirrors' to entice BE/o2 users to switch...and once they have then the idea will be ditched... at first I wouldn't believe it but Iam starting to to change my mind!
