I subscribe to an investment mag, and have seen other of their inserted pamphlets. Most of those seen, if not all, are in same vein.

Just seen this thread now, but I had watched this video earlier.
Like you say it is quite scary and it hooks you in with all the facts.   Unfortunately though near the end I started to switch off because of the blatant marketing hype for moneyweek.    Unfortunately at that point I then became a bit cynical about what point the video was trying to convey.   ie subscribe to moneyweek and get our financial advice or this could happen.  :/

Ha ha ..... I didn't see it through to fruition, I watched about 30mins and had to go and do something else. So, it would appear that the latter segment was all about selling 'Moneyweek' !! Glad I didn't watch it all now.

As Berrick has pointed out (and others), the facts presented that I did see, were indeed thought provoking.
