Adaptive rate logic.
« on: December 21, 2007, 05:00:04 PM »

Hi,
I've just been reading Kitz informative and helpful site.
I noticed this.......
1. - Large increase - Line dropped to a 576 sync during a thunderstorm (profile = 500), after a resync it went back up to 7616 (profile 6500). Profile increase = 6000/500 *100 = 1200% increase which should occur in 4-6 hours.

My line sync'd up today from 1meg to almost 4meg.
But on the bt speed tester my ip throughput still measures 500kbps.
Its been six hours, is it a case of being patient? or should I contact my isp?

Be patient. It should happen within a day or so, but it can take longer.

Thank you Roseway,
I don't think I need to worry about this now.
Thanks for replying though.
