Our day went well, thanks.

Not sure where we went wrong but we broke with our tradition, and served dinner at exactly the time we said we'd serve it, as opposed to two hours later, as has become expected.   Nobody's ever going to 'trust' us again.      :D

Everybody seemed happy though even if they did have to settle for just one glass of sherry, instead of several.   And all the more appreciative of the glass(-es and -es) wine with the meal.   :)
